Bob Wilson

Bob first found success in 1957 as a schoolboy goalkeeper for England. He signed for Arsenal in 1963, making more than 300 first-team appearances and helping them to glory in the 1970 European Fairs Cup and the coveted League Championships and FA Cup double in 1971.  His broadcasting career began in 1974, fronting the BBC's Football Focus for 20 years and presenting Grandstand, Sports night, and Breakfast Sport.  Bob joined ITV in 1994 and has fronted matches from around the world.

In 1999 he and his wife Megs launched the Willow Foundation in memory of their daughter Anna who died of cancer age 31.   Bob was awarded an OBE for charitable causes in the name of Willow Foundation in 2008 and he and Megs are now Life Presidents of the charity.
