Jacqueline Hammond is a versatile artist and illustrator specialising in figurative fine art paintings that are both commercial and inventive. Skilled at creating strong images that display an acute sense of composition, a vibrant use of colour, and speak for themselves; her works have a wide appeal and are ideal for use in print. Several works are available for licensing purposes and she is currently available for commissions, projects and design briefs.
Taking part in The Seeking Picasso Competition in 2007 led to representation by The McNeill Gallery in Hertfordshire, she featured in the ‘Not the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.’ This led to a solo exhibition. Then several more exhibitions and many, many more paintings! A regular to Brighton Artists Open Houses and well known for her fresh way of depicting Brighton, which led to her current residency by the sea at JAG Gallery on Brighton’s Madeira Drive. The gallery and open studios are open to the public every day and visitors are welcome to watch artists at work.
