‘Self-taught painter Jakob Belbin delves into his twisted psyche for inspiration, finding there an utter disgust with the trappings of 21st century living; competition, consumerism and capitalism. He scrawls vicious scenes onto his trashcan-canvases, salvaged from skips and dank alleyways, which reflect the urban idiocy of waste and want.
