Jennifer Mackay-Windle
Jennifer Mackay-Windle passion for painting comes from my emotional responses to beauty, the effects of sunlight hitting a wheat field, intense colours of fruits and flowers or broad expanses of ocean and sky.
Significant influences on her style and subjects come from studying the great masters and the work of her great-great-great aunt, American Laura Coombs Hills (1859-1952), famous for her portraits and floral paintings in watercolour and pastel.
