Paul Bateman is a multi-faceted musician, equally at home playing or conducting classical and light music. His recordings as both conductor and pianist now number over 70 and his arrangements and compositions are performed all over the world by artists such as Lesley Garrett, Sarah Brightman and José Carreras.
On Kammerspiel's album 'Seven Last Words' Paul plays his own Fazioli 212 piano that he has owned since 1995. It was formerly owned by a recording studio and was the piano that Freddie Mercury played on his last album.
